Week 7 - San Francisco Bay Area
Last week was Social Media Week, which is why I am late posting this! It was a busy week and I was spending time testing our app for work. I successfully live streamed two sessions for over 40 minutes and each one have over 100 viewers! Pretty cool for just using an iPhone.
Week 6 - San Francisco
Lodge No. 3 had a vintage fashion sale and Valentine Day shopping event this weekend. Another super fun event! Flowers were for sale for anyone avoiding being put in the doghouse.
Week 5 - Downtown Las Vegas
We headed to Vegas to celebrate my birthday and for the first time went to downtown Vegas. The casinos were smokier, the drinks were cheaper and the area was defiantly seedier. Still, we had a great time. The restored old neon signs were so much fun to see!
Week 4 - San Francisco
We are members of San Francisco Elks Lodge No. 3: the oldest continually running Elk Lodge in the country. We have an amazing historic building on Union Square and random bits of history just hanging around. This cash register use to sit behind our bar until someone realized it needed to be protected. Either that or we needed more room for the beer taps.
Week 3 - SF Bay Area
We are lucky to live in an area that is stunningly wild…and densely populated. This is a classic view of the hikes around the middle of the San Francisco peninsula. And my classic view of my Shiba wondering why I am so slow!
Week 2 - Woodland, CA: We are here for Elks Ritual training. I didn’t believe the map when I saw “Dead Cat Alley” but sure enough, this alley off Main Street is legit. On the other side of Main is “Dog Gone Alley”. I wish I knew the history behind these!

Week 1:
Painting on the side of Restoration Hardware in downtown Palo Alto. At first I thought it was a mail carrier since it is next to a blue postal box. Then I saw the alien.
